Ambassador Arshak Poladyan visits Morocco

On February 2, Ambassador designate of the Republic of Armenia to the Kingdom of Morocco, Arshak Poladyan, presented his letters of credence to Nasser Bourita, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates.

Minister Bourita welcomed Ambassador Poladyan, wishing him a successful tenure and productive efforts towards strengthening Armenian-Moroccan bilateral relations.

Ambassador Poladyan expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome, highlighting the longstanding ties between the Armenian and Arab peoples. He discussed the current dynamics between Armenia and Arab countries and committed to enhancing Armenian-Moroccan relations and fostering comprehensive cooperation.

During their meeting, Ambassador Poladyan also addressed the situation in the South Caucasus and briefed on the “Crossroads of Peace” project initiated by the Armenian Government to establish lasting peace and mutually beneficial cooperation in the region.

Following this, Ambassador Poladyan met with Adghoughi Redouane, Director of European Affairs at the Moroccan Foreign Ministry. Their discussion focused on mutual interests, emphasizing the importance of political dialogue between the two Foreign Ministries, development of sectoral cooperation, and the exchange of high-level visits.
